On Friday, 24 November, the Magnolia Project, in partnership with the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (ALRM) launched our Cultural Practice Guide. We were particularly delighted to welcome guests to the launch at the University of Adelaide. We wrote the guide to support mental health professionals’ preparation of cultural safety evidence in pre-sentencing matters. If you want to read more, the Cultural Guide can be downloaded for free from our website.

Professor Simone Dennis opened the event

Thank you to everyone who attended the event. We are particularly grateful to Professor Simone Dennis and the School of Social Sciences for hosting us and welcoming everyone to the university.

The event encouraged friends and supporters of both Magnolia and ALRM to meet each other. The event reminded us of our commitment to work together to promote a more compassionate and culturally safe criminal justice system in South Australia. If this resonates with you, please keep in touch!
